LEARN TO FREE DIVE UP TO 30 METERS!
JUNE 21ST- 27TH Lombok, Indonesia.
Join our first ever weeklong expedition where you can become a certified free diver. You’ll experience real and hands on conservation while training and learning the theory behind free diving, improving your depth & exploring the reef from repurposed shark fishing boats.
The trip will be hosted by Madison Stewart & Allie Reilly, free diving & yoga instructor as well as shark handler & photographer .
(This will be the only free diving course trip we will offer & the last weeklong expedition for 2024 a non-refundable deposit is required to book your spot)

Price: 25,250,000 IDR per person (apx $2450 AUD/ $1600 USD)
This deposit is required to hold your spot. We advertise one trip at a time, please ensure you have made note of the trip date. All bookings are made with PMA Project Hiu Tours (Indonesia). Your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE so please be sure you are committed to the trip before booking. Once payment is received you will be sent all terms & conditions as well as information on the rest of the trip payment and a booking form.
JUNE 21ST
Arrival and check into your hotel, welcome dinner with your hosts.
JUNE 22nd
Intro and theory to free diving.
Static & Dynamic Pool Session.
Afternoon surf at an easy and small surf break.
JUNE 23rd
First day on a shark fishing boat, meet the crew, learn from the fishermen & dive a shark nursery.
First line dive & theory 2 in the afternoon
JUNE 24th
We travel to witness sharks being brought into one of the largest shark markets in Indonesia to be processed and sold for their fins. This day is confronting and option but is an important part of our trips. The second half of the day is free time and an optional educational talk.
Then head to the boat for line dive 2.
June 25th
Another boat day and free dive session.
June 26th
you will get to meet all the crew and see where and ow our fishermen live by immersing yourself in the true local culture on “fisherman island”. We will take a tour of ways Project Hiu has shaped and changed the island.
Farwell dinner
June 27th
The trip will conclude on this day.

Activities: Free diving, snorkelling, skurfing, educational talks, village visits, boating, hiking, visit to shark market & surfing.
Accomodation: Twin share at 5 star hotel
Highly recommend people bring their own freedive gear as in masks/fins (we will provide weights & weight belt).

Do I need to be vaccinated? Indonesia no longer requires vaccination to enter the country
Do I need previous experience? Absolutely not, we got you!
What visa do I need? Depending on what country you are coming from, a simple VOA (visa on arrival), will be sufficient for one of our trips. This gives you 30 days in Indonesia & can be extended if you wish to stay longer. Please check to see if your country is on the list for a VOA.
Where will we be based? We will be based in the town of Kuta on the Island of Lombok, Lombok is a 40 minute flight East of Bali.
Where will I need to book my flights to? Your flights will need to be booked to Lombok airport, airport code LOP. We recommend flying into the major airport of Denpasar in Bali & booking a domestic flight to Lombok with plenty time in-between to clear immigration & customs.
